[EST] Prototypes for Sega MegaDrive and Super Nintendo
Bonsoir a tout le monde
Is there anyone who could help me attribute a value to prototypes and pre-release carts for MegaDrive (PAL) and Super Nintendo?
Merci pour votre support.

Re: [EST] Prototypes for Sega MegaDrive and Super Nintendo
on the first view :
International Superstar Soccer (Konami, Super Nintendo) = 100/200
NBA Give'n Go (Konami, Super Nintendo) = 100/200
Micro Machines (Codemaster, MegaDrive) = 200/300
Micro Machines 2 (Codemaster, MegaDrive) = 200/300
Psycho Pinball (Codemaster, MegaDrive) = 200/300
Daze Before Christmas (Sunsoft, MegaDrive) = I ve never seen, I will like photo for this (may be unique copy prototype !?) 50/10,000 ?
the prototypes are always beautiful item, a little expensive, but difficult to find the buyer

Daze Before Christmas was very likely the only prototype to ever leave Sunsoft offices in Europe, but probably there was another prototype in Japan). I thought it could be expensive, but didn't think this much...

Re: [EST] Prototypes for Sega MegaDrive and Super Nintendo
I can't estimate your daze before christmas because I've never seen it and I don't know of its existence, the dump is not shared
it can value 10e or 10 000e or more !?
you have a good collection item, keep it
or show the prototype at a professionnal estimate
edit : you must extract the dump for preserve this prototype program

on arrive a decerner 15 ou 13 novembre 94 , donc environ 1 mois avant sa sortie
le jeu devait etre probablement bien avancé , peut etre juste quelque texture, sprites differents

I will keep it, for now. It's a nice collector's item, but I know that one day I will sell it.maxfly a écrit:I can't estimate your daze before christmas because I've never seen it and I don't know of its existence, the dump is not shared

I have thought about having one or two of my prototypes professionally evaluated and graded, but I couldn't find a viable solution yet (for various reasons).
Question: how would I extract the dump? I'm serious. My expertize with technology is limited, I still use pen and paper more than my smartphone...

you have to unsolder the 4 chips from the pcb and read them with an eprom programmer (easy for someone used to it). There are several websites that recover these programs to keep them. chips are never eternal. this prototype could be copied and reproduced. but you have the original authentic prototype

there is also another simpler, but less reliable method, especially for prototypes. I have never tested this equipment or you just have to insert the cartridge and copy the program
